The formula, in plain math: monthly commission = audience × (conversion ÷ 100) × avgGmv × 0.30. Monthly GMV = audience × (conversion ÷ 100) × avgGmv, so the stacked monthly is just monthly commission × (51 ÷ 30).
The 51% identity: stacked share = 1 − (1 − 0.30)(1 − 0.30) = 0.51 of monthly GMV. The 30% product-affiliate slice is paid on GMV; the 30% seller-referral slice is paid on Whop's gross profit — that's the 70% of GMV left after the affiliate cut. 30% + 30% × 70% = 30% + 21% = 51%.
Policy: the same buyers count once. The seller-referral tier is paid on Whop's gross-profit share of that same monthly GMV stream, so the math stacks cleanly with no upstream double-counting.
Stacked share: 30% product-affiliate + 30% × (1 − 30%) seller-referral = 51% of monthly GMV. The same buyers count once; the seller-referral tier is paid on Whop's gross-profit share of that same stream, so the math stacks cleanly without double-counting.
